Brave & Bold: Overcoming Fear Through FaithSample

Day 5: Living Empowered
Scripture: "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." — 1 John 4:4 (NKJV)
Devotional Reflection: Living empowered means recognizing that the power within you is greater than any obstacle before you. God’s Spirit dwells in you, and that means fear has no authority over your life.
Victory is already yours. You don’t have to earn it—you simply have to walk in it. Fear may come knocking, but you no longer have to answer. You are equipped, empowered, and unstoppable in Christ.
Reflection Questions:
- How would my life change if I fully trusted in God’s power?
- What areas of my life do I need to surrender fully to Him?
- How can I daily remind myself that God’s power is greater than any fear?
Prayer: “Lord, I declare that I am empowered by Your Spirit. No fear, no doubt, no obstacle can stand against me because You are greater. Help me to walk in confidence, knowing I am victorious in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Action Step: Make a plan for how you will continue walking boldly in God’s power beyond this devotional.
