The Lamb

Have you ever tried to imagine what it would be like to be in heaven, standing right before God’s throne, seeing Jesus face to face? It’s pretty amazing to think about, but honestly, it’s beyond what any of us can fully imagine. John, the writer of Revelation, actually got to see a glimpse of heaven. I imagine that after that experience, he couldn’t stop thinking about it every day, longing for the day he’d be there forever.

Go Deep

This passage shows us a vision of heaven, where people from every part of the world, together with the angels, are worshiping Jesus, the Lamb. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the stresses and challenges of life here on earth, but remembering what awaits us in heaven can give us hope. In heaven, God will wipe away every tear, which is a poetic way of saying that there will be no sadness or pain. Imagine a place where there’s no hunger, no thirst, and no struggles—only joy in the presence of Jesus. It’s amazing to think that we’ll be in a place so perfect. All we’ll want to do is worship and celebrate the One who made it possible by dying on the cross: Jesus, our Saviour.

Be Bold

Think about the Lamb—that’s what the Bible calls Jesus. He didn’t have to die for us. He could have chosen not to create us at all, knowing the struggles and suffering ahead. So why did He do it? Because He wanted to love us and be loved back. He wanted to be with us forever. He knew there would be suffering, but He looked ahead to that incredible future where we’ll be together, with Him.

Take a moment to thank Jesus right now, for everything He’s done and everything He’s preparing for you. Life can be tough, and sometimes we feel lost or hopeless. But whenever you’re feeling down, remember this picture of heaven—a perfect place with a God who loves you.
