Sorry Not SorrySample
It’s a comfort to know that no matter the difficult situation we find ourselves facing—from the betrayal of a loved one to a casually cruel comment given by a close friend—we are never truly alone in our hurt. When we put our faith and trust in Jesus, in return, we are given a never-ending promise of a life spent with the Spirit. And while we may know this to be true, when we find ourselves in those moments of pain and frustration, our emotions can begin to drown out the comfort that comes from that truth. Just like that, we begin to doubt that anyone even cares about what we’re going through, let alone the Savior of the world. We can’t always hear Jesus. We can’t see His face, and we aren’t always able to feel His comforting presence. That’s why the truth is so important to remember: Jesus is with us. He is with us during the time of pain, and He is with us when we are working toward finding a place of healing. He is with us when we struggle, and He is with us when we’re triumphantly able to grasp forgiveness and give it freely. The Lord is with us through it all, and He always will be.
Do you believe that today? Do you believe that Jesus is always with you? Work on memorizing this Psalm as a reminder of the presence you have access to all the time.

About this Plan
Forgiveness feels like something that we know we should do, but it isn’t always something we actually do. We all sometimes find it hard to live out forgiveness in our everyday lives. It’s hard to find a way to let go, but what if there is a way to let go and forgive? In this devotional, we’ll look at the way forgiveness can work in our lives to move us toward freedom for ourselves and others.
