Godly Vision

Lord, with a new year ahead, we ask that You’d help us to live with intention. Please grant us the diligence to create space for what matters most, living in an attentive relationship with You and growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grant us godly vision for how we spend our time and what we put our minds and efforts towards.

As we commit ourselves to growing spiritually together, we pray for the grace to develop new spiritual habits that will draw us closer to You and deepen our connection with one another. We ask You to help us establish practices that will sustain our spiritual growth.

Help us to set aside time each day to pray together, inviting Your presence into our home and relationship. Lord, help us to make Your Word the foundation of our lives and our marriage. We pray we’d read the Bible together regularly, allowing Your truth to shape our hearts, minds, and actions. May Your Word be the guide by which we make decisions, the standard by which we live, and the encouragement that sustains us through life's challenges. Help us to understand Your Word more deeply and apply it to every area of our lives—our relationship, our work, our family, and our purpose.

Father, we also ask for the discipline and desire to be still before You. In the busyness of life, it can be difficult to find quiet moments, but we know that You speak in the stillness.

Help us to create space for silence and Sabbath, where we can rest in Your presence and listen to Your voice. Teach us to slow down. May these moments of silence bring clarity and renewal to our hearts and marriage.

Lord, help us to serve You and others together. We pray this year would be marked by acts of service—whether in our home, our church, or our community.. May we find joy in serving each other and those around us, sharing the blessings You've given us with others.

Finally, Father, help us to seek Your will in all things, to align our desires with Your purpose, and to make decisions that honor You. Guide our plans for the future and strengthen our commitment to one another. May we grow in love, trust, and unity, always seeking to reflect Your glory through our relationship.
