We Grow: A Journey of Drawing Closer to GodSample
Day 169 of 365
In Proverbs 22, we read, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” God values integrity above all earthly treasures, calling us to live with honesty and moral courage. In Acts 4, Peter and John stand before the authorities, boldly proclaiming the truth about Jesus, even under threat. Their integrity and faithfulness reflect a commitment to God that goes beyond personal safety.
The Holy Spirit empowers us to live lives of integrity, giving us the courage to stand for truth, even when it’s difficult. He shapes our character to reflect Christ, helping us to be consistent in both public and private. Integrity isn’t just about avoiding wrongdoing; it’s about actively pursuing what is right and true.
Today, invite the Holy Spirit to strengthen your commitment to integrity. Ask Him to help you make decisions that honor God and reflect His heart. As you walk in honesty and courage, may others see the truth of Christ through your life, drawing them closer to God.
