Day 2: Loving God Above All Else

Loving God is the foundation of a life committed to Him. Jesus calls us to love God with everything we are—our heart, soul, and mind. This is not a passive love but an active choice to put God at the center of our lives. To love God above all else means that our devotion to Him becomes the filter through which we view the world, our decisions, and our relationships.

When we prioritize our love for God, everything else finds its rightful place. Loving God first allows us to love others more authentically, as His passion fuels us. It also brings clarity in discerning what truly matters. Today, reflect on areas where you may be tempted to place other things—work, relationships, goals—above your love for God. Choosing to love God above all is a daily commitment that deepens our relationship with Him and transforms our lives.
