Be for RealSample

Have you ever noticed ads pop up on your phone or computer for items after you search for them? For example, if you search for a new pair of shoes, all of a sudden, shoes will show up on your social media feed or in ads on websites.
The same can be true when it comes to how we think. When we look for things that are good, funny, or generally positive, the more likely we are to find them. Our thoughts are powerful. That’s why it’s important to focus on what is honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. When we focus on those things, we are more likely to also demonstrate those values through our actions.
Today, think about what is taking up most of your attention. Make a list of your thoughts, emotions, and feelings. Compare them to what Paul says to focus on. Talk to someone you trust about how you might need to change your focus.
