Be for RealSample

What we think about can affect how we act. When we focus on things that honor God—like kindness, honesty, and love—our actions usually follow that same direction. But if we’re always thinking about things like wanting attention or making someone feel less than us, we might start treating people in ways that don’t reflect who God wants us to be. Integrity, or doing the right thing, starts in our minds. Imagine if every thought in your head was something “excellent and worthy of praise”—how do you think that would affect the way you live?
This week, try to focus on thoughts that remind you of God’s goodness. And remember, the way we act often starts with the way we think!
