Daily Bible Reading—December 2024, God’s Guiding Word: JoySample

Introduction
Revelation 4:1–11: In today’s reading, John describes the One who is seated on a heavenly throne, surrounded by those singing praises to God who created all things.
Today’s Key Verse: Revelation 4:8b
“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is, and who is to come.”
Reflect
How is the One sitting on the throne described? In verse 8 we find again the words for God that we read in chapter 1. What significance might these words have had for John? What significance do they have for you?
Pray
Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, you alone are worthy to receive glory and honor. With all creation, I praise your name forever. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Revelation 5:1–14: The Lamb of God is praised.
