The Love That Brings Us Back

DAY 4 OF 6

When you’ve been lost and then found, what could fill your heart more than the joy of serving the One who rescued you? The lost sheep that was brought back on the shoulders of the Good Shepherd knows the relief of being safe again. There is no more fear, no more loneliness—only gratitude. And from that gratitude, the desire to serve is born, not as an obligation, but as an act of love.

Serving the Lord with joy is a natural response to the experience of being found. Before, we wandered, trying to fill the emptiness with fleeting things—work, distractions, seeking acceptance. But now, after being rescued, we have discovered that our true satisfaction lies in being close to Him, in following His voice and being part of His plan.

Service is not a burden. On the contrary, it is an opportunity to express our love for the One who loved us first. Every act of service is a way of saying, "I remember what You did for me, and I want to give back to You with my heart and hands." It is a deep joy that comes from the certainty that we are exactly where we should be—at home, with the Shepherd who rescued us.

This service is full of songs, not lamentations. It is full of purpose, not emptiness. The joy of serving is the reflection of a heart that has been transformed by grace. Now, nothing else matters but walking alongside the Shepherd, helping to care for other sheep, and celebrating the goodness of the One who brought us back to life.

About this Plan

The Love That Brings Us Back

Even when we stray, the Good Shepherd never gives up on us. He seeks us with love and carries us back on His shoulders, bringing us to the safety of home. Often, we hide in empty places—work, distractions, trivialities—but true joy is found in serving and being with God. The invitation stands: return to the Shepherd's arms and experience the peace of being home once again.
