Have you ever had a good coach, mentor, or teacher? Somebody who came alongside you, pushed you, and encouraged you to be confident in what you’re doing? If you have, you know just how powerful that voice can be. We all need somebody to remind us that we don’t have to approach things with timidity or fear. Rather, we can lean on all the work we’ve done to get there, the capabilities we know we have, and the spirit that pushes us to give it our best. That is the true show of confidence and humility we find in Jesus Himself.

Just like a good coach challenges, teaches, and encourages us, Jesus reminds us that we have all we need to take on anything we face in this life. We don’t have to approach anything with fear or worry that we won’t have what it takes. Rather, we can humbly put our confidence in Jesus, who has equipped us with all we need to take on what may come our way.

Today, commit this verse to memory. Let it serve as your reminder that, because of Jesus, you have all you need to navigate any twist or turn life throws.
