Who doesn’t love an underdog? Those “rags to riches comeback, started from the bottom, and now we’re here” type of stories are the best. Why? Because they show us that, even when we think it’s over and done with, something can happen that changes the game completely.

And as Christians, that’s exactly what we know God did for us. Jesus’ arrival in the world changed the game once and for all. Just when everybody thought things like grace, mercy, and rescue from our sins weren’t possible, Jesus came on the scene and made sure it was all, in fact, very possible. Because of Jesus, we can trust that the story isn't over as long as we’re breathing. There’s always time for God to change the game; all we have to do is trust and believe that God will!
