As followers of Jesus, we know that our confidence and humility come from God. It’s not something we can muster up on our own. Sure, we can try, but eventually, those foundations will crack, and we’ll be left wondering what happened. Rather than stand in the rubble, why not find our confidence and humility in God every day? One of the best ways to do that is by memorizing God’s Word, which reminds us of just that!

So, this week, keep working on memorizing this verse. Take time to read it in a few translations on your Bible app. Write down a few that stand out to you, underlining words and phrases that speak to your heart and give you a sense of the kind of confidence and humility Jesus calls us to.
