Day 5: Christ, the Image of God's Redemption

Discover: Genesis 1 reveals that humanity is created in the image of God, a profound mystery and truth which is best understood through Jesus Christ. Jesus is God revealed! Colossians 1:15 says, “He [Jesus] is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.” Through His redemptive work on the cross, Christ restores us and empowers believers to reflect God's character in every aspect of their lives. Embracing Christ as the true image of God compels us to manifest His love, wisdom, and grace, and fulfills our vocation as God's beloved children and active participants in His redemptive mission within a fallen world. Therefore, through Christ, we not only see God's character and attributes but also His redemptive plan for humanity.

Learn: To understand Christ as the image of God's redemption reshapes our perspective on creation, the fall of humanity, and our ultimate restoration. Through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection, Christ reconciles all things to Himself and makes peace through His shed blood on the cross.
