God Rejoices in You

The Lord Most High, the all-powerful One, thinks about you and me. His thoughts toward us are always lovely, for He never condemns. He may chastise when we need it, but He still does this out of His great care and affection. He is always with us, right in our midst. He fights our battles and brings us to victory.

Do you hear that beautiful voice? That is your Creator, your Lord, your Abba, singing over you. Amazing, isn’t it? He proclaims His delight in you and the beauty of who He made you to be. You can hear the joy in His song, for He is pleased with His creation. While He lifts His voice loudly, He extends His peace and care over you. The God of the universe has a love song just for you. May we never cease to marvel at the glorious thought that the Creator of all rejoices in song over His children.

Father, I am humbled by the knowledge that You sing over me. I don’t deserve Your grace, but I gratefully accept it. Amen.
