What’s your favorite restaurant? More specifically, what’s your favorite thing to eat at that restaurant? The one thing on the menu you always order because you like it that much? Now, think about this: What would you do if they changed the menu and your favorite item was gone? Or even worse, what if the restaurant closed altogether? Unexpected, disappointing, a major letdown—that kind of change is the worst! Well, here's the good news: With God, we can rest assured that we have access to the One who will never change. We never have to worry about God leaving, disappointing us, or letting us down. Instead, we can trust that God will always remain the same, and in a world where everything else changes, that’s a big deal.

Today, spend a few minutes making a list of all the good things you know about God. Then, thank God for the fact that those things will always stay the same.
