What Was I Made For?Sample
Have you ever done something for so long only to be told that you needed to do it differently? Trying to shift those habits to new ones is hard! This passage states we should not be conformed to the world but be transformed by the renewing of our mind through God. God is calling us to leave our old way of thinking and receive a new perspective on life. We were made to be united with God. But ever since the Garden, we have lost that unity with God. Now, God is calling us to come back to that unity so we can walk in step with Jesus. And through Jesus’s death, burial, and resurrection, that is a tangible thing for us! Because there is now no condemnation for those in Christ. Shifting from our old way of life may be hard in the moment, but in the long term, it’s so much better than we could imagine!
Today, I encourage you to walk in step with Jesus. Love like Jesus loved, talk like Jesus talked, and spend time with God like Jesus spent time with God.
