Persecution and Faith
As you read today's scripture, consider the following questions:
Why is the Apostle Paul confident despite all the persecution?
What is the result of persecution?
What is the promise of God when we are in trials?
Why does God allow trials and persecution?
How have you seen Jesus protect you in your walk with him?
What made the early disciples of Jesus continue following Him?
In the previous study, we learned that God is always with us, and Jesus will never leave us, nor forsake us. The prophet David says in Psalm 18:1-3, “I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies.” God is our strength. Depend on Him daily. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
