From Now OnSample

Want an easy-to-remember way to read and study the Bible? No matter which passage of Scripture you're reading, ask yourself these three questions: "What?" "So What?" "Now What?" We'll show you how!
WHAT? What is this passage about?
What does Jesus say results from following his commands?
SO WHAT? Why does it matter?
- What problems could be solved if we consistently put the needs of others ahead of ours?
- Why do you think Jesus put so much emphasis on love in this passage? How would changing the word "love" out in this passage for something else alter the message?
NOW WHAT? What should I do about it?
- How have you viewed your relationship with Jesus in the past? Friendship? Obligation?
- Do you ever feel a tension between accepting Jesus' love and doing what he commanded? What might you do to live out of Jesus' love for you today?
- Who can you show the love of Jesus by putting them first?

About this Plan

During his time on Earth, Jesus' message was clear—from now on, things will be different.
