King & KingdomsSample

Yesterday we saw what led David to write Psalm 23. It’s time for David to assume his throne and take back Jerusalem, accomplishing some of God's biggest promises.. This is huge! It's the culmination of all David's preparation. He was about to reunite and lead the tribes of Israel--and you have to imagine that felt really heavy to him. He knew what it would take. So for just a moment, he remembers who is leading him. The Lord is his shepherd. And if that's true, then he will lack nothing. David trusts fully in the Lord.
Think it Over: In your life, do you find it hard to trust the Lord? How could God be calling you to trust him in full dependance?
