What to Say When You Don't Know What to Say: Truth From God's Word for Any Situation

DAY 6 OF 7

Life-Giving Words to Bring Healing

The centurion was a man of authority. He knew that when he gave his subordinates orders, they acted - immediately. So, when he approached Jesus for help, he understood a principle the people around him had missed. Jesus has far more Authority than the highest-ranking military official on Earth. He commands the armies of Heaven and controls the entire Universe. When Jesus agreed to heal his servant, the centurion stopped Him from traveling to his home. “I’m not worthy for You to come under my roof. Just simply say the word, and he will be healed.” The centurion’s faith floored Jesus.

God has words throughout Scripture that speak directly to our healing, both physically and emotionally. We don’t have to muster up strength or solutions on our own. Like the centurion, we need to see our Savior as Sovereign over our situation and recognize Jesus’ Power and Authority over every obstacle we face in our lives. Our God is Mighty to save, and He is our Healer in every way. Let’s look to the Great Physician to speak the Word our lives and hearts need to hear—and be healed today.

How priceless your faithful love is, God! People take refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They are filled from the abundance of Your house. You let them drink from Your refreshing stream. For the wellspring of life is with You. By means of Your light, we see light. PSALM 36:7–9

God is our wellspring of life. Sit in His Presence and feel the refreshment springing from His Spirit in you.

Oh, that Israel’s deliverance would come from Zion! When the LORD restores the fortunes of His people, let Jacob rejoice, let Israel be glad. PSALM 14:7

God will restore your fortunes. Just keep your focus on His Faithfulness!

“But I will bring you health and will heal you of your wounds—this is the LORD’S declaration.” JEREMIAH 30:17

It is God’s Will that you be healed. Whether it’s manifested here or in Heaven is up to Him.

Jesus continued going around to all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness. MATTHEW 9:35

Jesus has always been in the business of healing. Nothing is too hard for Him.

The whole crowd was trying to touch Him because power was coming out from Him and healing them all. LUKE 6:19

Let’s press into Jesus and ask Him to heal you physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Dear friend, I pray that you are prospering in every way and are in good health, just as your whole life is going well. III JOHN 1:2

I’m asking God to prosper your efforts and fill your physical being with all His Goodness.
