What the Bible Says About...Sample
Do To Others
For we are taking pains to do what is right, not only in the eyes of the Lord but also in the eyes of others.
Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ in front of others, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. … To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Do to others as you would have them do to you.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
