Lord, you are the God who saves me; day and night I cry out to you. … How long, Lord, must I call for help? … I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. … And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? … You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry. … The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry. … He does not ignore the cries of the afflicted. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

If … they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry. … And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

You will pray to him, and he will hear you. … Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. … But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.
