Day 4: Surrender

Some things I have acknowledged so far as the most defining part of my relationship with God are:

• Trying not to think of Plan B’s.
• Trusting His Process even when it looks like I’m staring at a shut door.
• Not focusing on the future blessing(s) but on the Giver of the blessing(s).
• Falling short and hoping God doesn’t use it against me (hahaha, He is not man).

A lot of thoughts run through my little head but in all, I have surrendered the driver’s seat of my life to God and taken my seat as a passenger princess. I am surrendering my life to His Will daily with the help of the Holy Spirit and listening to the voice of my heart that reminds me of some of His Promises; Promises in Psalms 9:10, Psalms 18:1, Jeremiah 29:11, Romans 8:28.

I am also praying to God that He helps me acknowledge Him at every stage in my life even after my blessings because I need His Wisdom, Guidance, and Protection to manage the blessings.

The waiting season builds and strengthens my faith in God, teaching me that patience is not all about waiting for God, but it is about what I do while waiting.

While I pray, God prunes, prepares, and positions me for my blessings. This season is one where I must remember to remain in Christ; if not satan will be able to uproot me.

I want to encourage you to be steadfast and seek God in this season of your life, surrendering to His Will for you.

Prayer:

I thank You, Lord, for the life You have given us. I pray Your Spirit dwells in us and Your Words remain engraved on the walls of our hearts. I ask that You strengthen and build our faith and hope in You, especially in this season of our lives in the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
