Zephaniah 3:17 (NIV)

The way God loves us and how much He loves us is more than we can fully comprehend. It’s a love that caused Him to lay down His life for us. It’s a love that never stops pursuing us.There are moments when I don’t hear His love and moments when I don’t feel His love, but that does not change the fact that He is always giving His love. We may change and we may falter, but His perfect love does not change or waver. There is nothing we can do to earn His love or revoke it from our lives. Our challenge is to train our ear to listen.

If we can remain attentive to our Father and the love He continuously sings over us, we will be filled to overflowing with that amazing love. When we are filled up, there is no room for fear, doubt, worry, anxiety, sadness, weariness, or discouragement. I really believe that often times the answer we are looking for is found very simply in listening to God tell you how much He loves you. We can get caught up in looking for a formula to fix our issues or even expecting punishment when we fail. Sometimes all we need is a moment to soak in His love and listen to Him sing it over us.Take a moment today to simply ask God, “How much do you love me?” The answer will overwhelm and consume you. Don’t forget to write it down. There will be moments later on that you need to pull it out, read it, and remind yourself.
