Elevate: A Conversation About Violence and PeaceSample

Elevate: A Conversation About Violence and Peace

DAY 7 OF 7

In a world full of diverse personalities and conflicting perspectives, God’s call to be a peacemaker is especially important. To be a peacemaker isn’t just about avoiding conflict; it’s about actively pursuing harmony, understanding, and reconciliation. Jesus, the ultimate peacemaker, invites us to reflect his character in our daily interactions. As students, you are uniquely positioned to spread peace among friends, in the classroom, and throughout your school community. Being a peacemaker means standing against gossip, fostering empathy, and extending forgiveness. It’s a commitment to resolve conflicts with grace and compassion. When we pursue peace, we embody what it means to be a child of God.

How can you be a peacemaker today? Is there someone you need to make peace with or is there a conflict that needs a peaceful resolution? Choose to be a peacemaker and do one thing today that brings peace to the world around you.
