Journaling Through LentSample

Remembering God’s Victory
I’m an exceptionally competitive person, and winning at any game or competition I participate in is very important to me. However, it’s tough to face situations in life that are out of your control where winning doesn’t only depend on you. You feel powerless and helpless when you are confronted with such a situation.
At such times, it helps to know that God is on our side and that the one Being who can control, move, shift, and influence things in the Universe is on your team. God helps us overcome some impossible situations and gives us victories. Do we recognize God’s hand in those victories and thank Him for them?
Let’s take time today to express our gratitude to God for making us more than conquerors. We could’ve just been left to deal with our problems, but God didn’t do that. He came down for us and made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live victorious lives because of His victory over death and the grave!
Journaling Prompt:

About this Plan

This 40-day Lenten devotional will help you meditate on the themes of Repentance, Renewal, Remembrance, and Remission in the lead-up to Easter. Each day, you will focus on one theme, meditate on a portion of Scripture, and use a journaling prompt to encourage you to internalize what God is saying by expressing yourself through the creative art of journaling.
