At this point, we think we can all agree that we know we should avoid temptations. But, what happens when we fail? What happens when we know we’ve made the wrong choice, listened to the wrong voice, and went in a direction we know isn’t healthy for us? Is that it? Does one mistake keep us stuck down the wrong road forever? We’re sure all of us have asked ourselves these questions at some point. But when we have a relationship with Jesus Christ, we can be confident in the answer—no. We are loved by a God who is continually chasing after us, and who doesn’t abandon His children when they make a mistake.
Wherever there is temptation, God provides a path to redemption. Again, that isn’t to say that we won’t face the consequences of our choices. It doesn’t mean that everything is going to work out the way that we want it to. Instead of leaving us alone with our choices, God provides a way back to Him. He extends grace when we don’t deserve it. He offers forgiveness instead of condemnation. He doesn’t set obstacles in your path to trick you or test you, but instead promises to be right by your side the whole way.
How does it feel to know that you are loved by a God who wants the best for you, but also does not condemn you? A God who always is one step ahead, setting a path for us to return to Him?

About this Plan
We all have to deal with temptation at some point in our lives. Why does it have a hold on us and what can we do to break it? We’ll read what God says about temptation to see that while we each have temptations of our own, we never have to go through the struggles alone. Even when we’re faced with tempting thoughts, there is always a way through.
