Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” (Phil. 4:8-9)

What does it mean to think about whatever is noble?
Noble things are elevated. Classy. Excellent. Morally upstanding.
When Paul calls us to think about whatever is noble, he’s telling us to set our minds on higher things. Not to get dragged down into the world’s hollow chase for status but to remember that true nobility is found in the gratitude of Christ.
One way to make sure you fill your mind with noble things is by checking what you are letting in.
I spend hours every day with headphones in, filling my mind with words, melodies, and, ultimately, power. The question is, what types of words, melody, and power am I letting in?
Our passage tells us today: that they should be NOBLE things.
