What does it mean to think about whatever is pure?
Purity is an underrated concept in today’s culture. Ours is a culture that values experiences, and while I agree that new and varied experiences are a very important aspect of a life well-lived, I also think it’s important that we don’t dilute those experiences along the way.
In the Christian world, it’s easy to hear the word “purity” and think of sexuality, but I prefer to think of it as Undiluted Jesus.
When we think about whatever is pure, we invite all our experiences to be drenched in Jesus.
He must be our everything, nothing added. When we can open ourselves up to the Undiluted Jesus, then we can walk in gratitude. It’s the only way to truly experience this world.
