đ12 Gifts of Christmasđâ¨đSample
Voila (surprise, excitement is building)! Are you ready for Christmas? I canât wait!
Day eight brings us the gift of good news. Christmas is all about the best news ever! In Luke 2:10-11, the angel proclaims, "Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord."
The same announcement that the shepherds received is still echoing todayâgood news! This is the greatest news of all timeâthe Savior has come, and His name is Jesus. His name encapsulates His mission, as "Jesus" means "Yahweh saves" or "God saves."
This news is not just for a select few; it's for all people. In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, let's pause and reflect on the profound simplicity of this message. A Savior has been born, and He is Christ the Lord. It's a message that transcends time and resonates with each one of us.
As we prepare to unwrap the presents on Christmas Day, let's remember the good news that Jesus is not just a historical figure; He is our living Savior. His birth signifies the beginning of a story of love, redemption, and eternal joy.
May the joy of this good news fill your heart and home with immeasurable joy and celebration. Let's take a moment to bask in the warmth of the Savior's love, appreciating the timeless significance of His birth. Our God saves, and that is the reason we rejoice during this Christmas season.
Preview for tomorrow: Great Joy!
