đ12 Gifts of Christmasđâ¨đSample
Welcome to day seven of the 12 Gifts of Christmas! I'm thrilled to continue this journey with you, and today, we're unwrapping the 7th gift. What's inside? Let's find out.
Day seven reveals the gift of prophecy. When we think of Christmas, we think of promises fulfilled. Our God is a promise-keeping God. In Matthew 1:21, we read, "And she will bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins." This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken through the prophet, "Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which means 'God with us.'"
Did you know that Jesus, in His first coming (Advent), fulfilled more than 300 prophecies? His birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection all align with the promises spoken by the Lord through the prophets. This reassures us that God is trustworthy, and His word is always true. We can depend on His promises.
So, here's a special reminder for you today: If God has given you a promise, He keeps His word. As we approach the joyous celebration of Christmas, let this be a special gift to youâGod keeps His promises to you and to me, and His promises are found in His Word. Let's dive into His Word today and everyday.
May the promises of God fill your heart with hope and assurance as you reflect on the incredible fulfillment of prophecies through the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
