Reverence For The Lord
The word 'fear' may be worrisome to you. Why? Because everything we fear makes us feel unsafe because of the harm it can cause in our life. However, the fear of the LORD is reverence for who he is. Depending on the situation I will either fear fire or respect it because I know what it can do. Reverence for the LORD is to protect us and guard us.
Prayer: Father, you are creator over all things, may I honour you and give you the reverence that you deserve. There is none like you, you are holy and you protect me and guard me, that is your heart's desire. Amen.
