Start a Movement

When the Lord called me to the nations, my ministry was housed in a storefront church, in a little room. I studied and prepared my messages in a little box of an office, and I wouldn’t even take a salary. As a matter of fact, I still don’t. But it was at this time that the word of the Lord came to me. He said, “Don’t you dare look at your surroundings. Don’t you look at where you are, because I have placed something in you that’s bigger than where you are.”

Little did I know that from that storefront, the Lord would send me to 35 nations. That was eleven years prior to the writing of this book. Since then, the Lord has performed all that He said He would and then some. Although I am blessed and grateful, I know that none of it is about me. Every open door and every level of expansion and increase is a vehicle to bring glory to God’s name. He will do the same through you.

Movement is defined as “a series of organized activities working toward a common goal or objective.” It is also “an organized effort to promote or attain a purposeful end.”Movements may start small, but they are not fully defined as movements until they affect a greater population. Every God-inspired movement carries a supernatural force to help other people, raise the level of thinking, and transform lives.

You are being mantled for a movement! Take some time to think about how God may want to use you to start or become part of a movement in your community or sphere of influence. It doesn’t have to be massive to move the hearts of people toward God’s agenda. It only takes a willing vessel to become a vehicle for change and transformation.

God is using the vision He placed in you to testify of Himself, to release His glory through you. What you currently have won’t be able to house or hold what God is about to release in your life. It’s going to be major. The Lord says, “What I am about to do is going to be beyond what you could ask or think.”

It is time for you to run with the thing that the Lord has placed in your spirit. You don’t need wait or delay; do what the Lord has placed in your spirit. You are mantled for greatness.
