Jesus First: A Study on EphesiansSample

Discover
Today’s verses put a heavy emphasis on putting faith into action. This is where we put all that we have learned about our role in the body of Christ into action. Our verse from Romans says if your gift is serving, then serve. If your gift is encouragement, then encourage! We aren’t to sit on our gifts, we have been given gifts so that can put them into action.
Learn
Have you ever received a gift that was left unused or even in the box for months? Of course! We all have. Gifts are a great and exciting thing to receive, but if they sit unopened, then it’s like we never even had it in the first place. Make your gift worthwhile. Take it out of the box and share it with others.
Apply
See how you can get involved in your community in a way that utilizes your gift. If you need help getting plugged in, ask your church.

About this Plan

There is no greater joy in life than one with Jesus first. The book of Ephesians teaches us that the gospel unites and motivates us to live for Christ. Through Christ's sacrifice, we receive God's love, forgiveness, and deliverance. This new identity in Christ calls us to imitate Him in all aspects of our lives, including our relationships and our battle against the darkness in the world.
