Jesus First: A Study on EphesiansSample

Discover
Today we are reading three different passages that speak to one of the main themes in Ephesians. Look for how they share the idea of “together,” “people,” “others,” and “yourselves.” It is very clear that our walk with Christ is not one that is meant to be done alone. When we walk the walk and act like Christians, it’s not just something internal – our actions are something we do that have a direct effect on others.
Learn
Too many Christians live out their lives and their faith by themselves. This happens with believers of any age. They get caught up in the rhythm of life and find themselves too busy to fit any type of “togetherness” in their life. This can be lonely and it’s not God’s design for our spiritual growth. Find people that can encourage you on your walk, and pray about ways to encourage them.
Apply
Be involved in a community that encourages one-another in the faith. If you’re not in one now, spend the next week being intentional about finding one.
About this Plan

There is no greater joy in life than one with Jesus first. The book of Ephesians teaches us that the gospel unites and motivates us to live for Christ. Through Christ's sacrifice, we receive God's love, forgiveness, and deliverance. This new identity in Christ calls us to imitate Him in all aspects of our lives, including our relationships and our battle against the darkness in the world.
