DAY 19 OF 28

Who is your go-to when you're unsure of what decision to make?

We all have that special person we seek out when faced with a tough choice or circumstance.

Think about some of your favorite movies, and you'll see a ton of examples.

Luke leaned on Yoda for instruction. Batman had Alfred to provide a softer and more unique perspective. Iron Man had Jarvis. And Rey sought out wisdom from both Luke and Leia. The bottom line is that every one of us seeks out wisdom from someone we know and trust.

There are many times we get a little lost, confused, distracted, or betrayed and need someone to shed some light on the situation. Their insight can provide us with the wisdom to navigate things better the next time around.

But what about God? Where do God's words play into all of this? Have you found yourself desiring to ask God for guidance?

Our key verse for the day reminds us God is ready, willing, and able to provide the wisdom we need for life's choices and situations.

The Bible reminds us God has our best interest at heart, but we have to learn to trust this, and that doesn't always come easy.

Once we trust God, we'll begin to seek out godly wisdom first. Think about it: Having God on our side is like having the ultimate go-to person for life.

About this Plan

Grateful

At the end of each year, we have the chance to reflect on everything that's happened and all of the people around us. There’s so much we can be thankful for every year — even if things didn’t work exactly how we planned. God has given us so much, and the birth of Jesus is a great way to focus on all of the gifts we’ve received this year.
