The Promise of Balance, Contentment, and Peace
Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 KJV
Dear Lord, I pray that my children will discover the contentment and peace that only You can offer. The world promises its own version of peace, but the contentment that the world offers is deceptive and fleeting.
Let Your priorities be their priorities; let their plans be Your plans; let Your will be their will. Let my children find balance, contentment, and peace through You.
When we trust in the things of this earth, we will be disappointed. But when we put our faith in You, we are secure. Let us place our hopes and our trust in Your infinite wisdom and Your boundless love.
