Thanks for being on the journey with us as we go through the book of Exodus. As well as going through Exodus, there are also two passages to memorize. The first passage we will be memorizing is Psalm 119:9-16.
Each week we will have a different title as we have divided Exodus into eight sections. The first section is: ‘The Lord Reveals Himself.’
The family of Jacob, who was later called Israel, came to Egypt since the days of Joseph. Joseph was used by God to save people from a famine. However, after initially coming in positive circumstances, around 500 years later things are not going well for the children of Israel. They have been enslaved and Pharaoh is attempting to massacre Hebrew babies (“Hebrew” is another name for the children of Israel, meaning “wanderer” or “nomad”.)
Some brave Hebrew midwives save the lives of many babies, and the Hebrews keep growing, but things are not looking good.

From muddy ocean floors and sea walls, to manna from heaven, and water from rock. This plan follows the story of the Exodus, when God is revealed as Yahweh. This 8-week plan has a theme of the Exodus narrative each week as well as two memory passages to focus on.
