A “game-changer” is defined as a newly introduced element or factor that significantly changes an existing situation or activity.

If you’re a sports fan, then you probably have a favorite game-changing moment. In a single play or quarter, the game and sometimes even the sport is changed forever.

But game-changers have an impact on more than sports.

Spiritual game-changers can alter our lives, forcing us to view the world around us in a completely different manner.

Has the Lord ever gripped your life in such a way that shifted the spiritual momentum and changed the way you see things?

The Holy Spirit IS the game changer.

Game Changer #1: God’s Strength Is Unlimited.

Are you tired?

Some of us have been running on steam. At the end of the day, we’re worn out and running out of energy. The reason why is simple: we’re human.

Our strength is limited, but God’s strength has no limit. Our strength is finite, but His is infinite. God never gets tired, he never feels weak or weary. God doesn’t get tired.

Sometimes, in life, you’re going to be so weak that you can’t even pray, read the Bible, or go to Bible study. You can’t work. You can’t do anything. What do you do in those moments? You rest in the strength of the Lord, in His arms like a little child, and you trust.

Weakness can actually be a good thing in your life if it causes you to depend on God.

This is the paradox of depending on God; the more you’re weak, the more you depend on God. The more you depend on God, the stronger you get.

So depend on Him. Rely on God to provide you with the strength on days where your knees begin to buckle and your back feels weak. Allow Him to carry you further. To guide you.

And rest, knowing that God is strong enough to carry your burdens.
