Who Am ISample
For the last few years, we’ve all been learning to live in the Zoom era. It’s the unique space where our personal lives encroach on our professionalism quite often. Like when your toddler crashes the meeting with tears. Or when a task is interrupted by an apparently incredibly important request from one of your children. And all of a sudden, whatever important work issue was being solved is put on pause for the “needs” of someone else. It’s a small picture of a much more beautiful reality. We are children, and our Father happens to be the King of all. That means our requests and thoughts, and presence as God’s children are openly allowed in the throne room of Heaven. Not only do we have the constant ear of the King, but He has also moved in to be with us, so we have direct access to Him whenever we need it. As the sons and daughters of God, we can rest and breathe deeply because, not only is there no need outside of His ability to meet, He adores us as His children. He chose Fatherhood to explain His relationship to us. He chose to give us an identity as His children.
Sit in the reality that you are a child of the King. Ask God to show you what it means to live under the mantle of His Fatherhood. Your Father wants you to live like you are at home in His family. Why? Because you are!

About this Plan
How would you define what makes up your identity? Maybe you define who you are by what you do or how you perform. While all of those things may be pieces of who you are, those definitions can change. Let’s take those questions about our identity to God to see what He has to say. As we do, we’ll discover that God wants us to find our identity rooted in the firm foundation of truth—rooted in who He says we are.
