Who Am ISample
When the church first started, community happened nearly immediately. Everyone started getting together, eating together, learning together, going to the temple to pray together, and generally doing life together. Scripture also tells us that all of the believers lived open-handed. They sold property and gave it to people who needed help. People who weren’t believers saw the beauty of what was happening and wanted to be a part of it. That display of community drew others to the church. Everyone started to learn about God’s Kingdom and live for it. The believers started living with a Kingdom vision. And that change in perspective shifted how they viewed everything, including people. Everyone is loved and valued by God. Everyone is an eternal creature who will live forever somewhere. Everyone could be a part of God’s community. That’s exactly how God designed it to be from the start!
It was a beautiful beginning to the church, but it isn’t limited to the early church. Today, we are part of this same community, and we too are invited to live in light of God’s Kingdom. When we do, it will change us and the world around us. So, consider how you’re working to build a faith community where you are this week!

About this Plan
How would you define what makes up your identity? Maybe you define who you are by what you do or how you perform. While all of those things may be pieces of who you are, those definitions can change. Let’s take those questions about our identity to God to see what He has to say. As we do, we’ll discover that God wants us to find our identity rooted in the firm foundation of truth—rooted in who He says we are.
