God’s word requires that we have faith in Him to supply every one of our needs as it relates to every area and aspect of our lives.  God commanded that we flee from sexual immorality. God’s word doesn’t tell us the more individuals one has sex with, they become more sexually experienced than others.  Nor does he state if one practices sex outside the covering of marriage that they are more sexually experienced than others. It’s time to debunk this myth.  

Over the years I’ve heard countless individuals pride themselves of practicing sex outside of marriage and becoming self-proclaimed sex experts; able to give advice to anyone because they’d “gained experienced” in relationships due to their sexual immoral lifestyle. Some individuals in their pride demean individuals who don’t practice that lifestyle only because they are accepting that myth as truth. God’s word debunks all myths from the enemy!  Intentional, purposeful, premeditated, planned, calculated sex outside of marriage isn’t a qualifier of sexual expertise or proficiency.  

Don’t allow pride to creep in your life and believe what the world puts out as acceptable when it is clearly unacceptable according to God’s most holy word. Accepting this myth as truth has serious spiritual and physical implications and God wants your obedience to be protected from those grave consequences. The belief that one will gain experience doing what God commanded them NOT to do illustrates a lack of faith and is taking matters into their own hands.  

God has the ability to bless and accelerate us in ways that are beyond our comprehension. When we trust God and obey Him, He promised that He will grant us the desires of our hearts.  Debunk every myth associated with sex and trust God and live the life He has called you to live today! Now it’s up to you as a believer and follower of Jesus Christ to prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.
