OPEN YOUR BIBLE

Slowly and carefully read through 2 Corinthians 5. Prepare to absorb as much from this text. Pray before reading, asking God to give you something specific to wrap your mind around. You’re not going to get everything. The passage is full of meaningful truth. However, you will pick up on one or two things that will become the theme for your weekend. Personal. Private. Powerful.

Draw from here two major learnings. One. What Christ has done. Two. What I must do.

With specific reference to the cross, dwell on Vs. 21 and think deeply about the meaning of ‘so that’. May the Lord guide your thoughts heavenward and give you much grace.

COME CLEAN

As you reflect on Good Friday and Easter coming up, ask yourself one simple question. With every passing year, is Easter and Good Friday becoming more and more meaningful to you or is it losing its meaning or does it just not make any difference?

Whatever your conclusion may be, what do you think are the factors and people in your life that have caused that? Is change required?

Come clean before God. Make a change!
