God’s beautiful design was spoiled by humanity’s rejection of their core identity: the image of God. Humanity said “no” to this role and responsibility. Humanity rebelled against and rejected God which impacted all of creation. As you read the story of rebellion today, sit in the sorrow and sadness of sin’s cost, confessing your own sin and rebellion with a broken and contrite heart.
