Gracious Heavenly Father,

As I sit in the stillness
of a brand new day,
my heart rejoices
that You are here with me.

Not just in this
time and space,
but in those
yet to come.

Not just in this
stillness,
but in the unstill moments
still ahead.

Not just in this
new day,
but in the very heart
of this new creation.

Oh, Father God,
You who know
no time or space,
You who whisper
to my heart,
“Be still, and know that I am God”,
You who make
all things new:

Consume me with Your Spirit today.

Anoint me with the oil of Your gladness.

Touch me with the healing of Your hands.

Cleanse me with the fire of Your Word.

Fill me with the power of Your presence.

Lead me with the voice of Your Spirit.

Consume me
so all that is left
of me
is You.

I give this moment to You, Lord.
I give this day to You, Lord.
I give this heart to You, Lord.
I give this life to You, Lord.

Take it – all of it –
and use it
for Your good pleasure.

Take it – all of it –
and bring glory
to You through it.

Take it – all of it –
and accept it
as my sacrifice to You.
