Prayers for Debt FreedomSample

Dear God,
Regardless of how I accumulated the debt I have, I ask for your help getting rid of it! Whether it was incurred by no fault of my own or just by my own overspending, I thank you for your grace in this situation.
I am choosing not to look to the government, my employer, or anyone else to help me solve this problem, but instead I choose to trust in you alone.
As I work towards debt freedom and financial stability, I acknowledge what your word says about debt. Namely, that Ecc 5:5 and Romans 13:8 make it clear that being debt free is a goal worth chasing and at the same time we should pay back what we borrow.
Thank you for your wisdom and guidance in this process. I trust in your plan for my financial life and ask that you would lead me towards financial stability and freedom from debt.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
