Prayers for Debt FreedomSample

Dear God,

I come to you today seeking your wisdom and guidance as I work towards debt freedom. You promised to give me wisdom when I ask and I know that you desire that I’d be financially independent and not needing to rely on borrowing from others. Deuteronomy 15:6 says that you will bless us and we will be able to lend to many nations, but we won't have to borrow from anyone. And Deuteronomy 28:12 says that you will open the heavens and bless all the work of our hands, allowing us to lend to many nations without borrowing from any.

Thank you that you have given me a body and a mind to work and I pray that you would bless the work of my hands. As I do my part in stewarding what you have entrusted to me, I pray that you would do what only you can do in my financial situation and debt reduction.

As I work towards paying off all my debt, I pray that you would give me patience as I know it may take some time. Help me to see the big picture and fix my eyes on you as I do the work. I know it probably won’t be easy, but I trust in your goodness and love, and I know that you are with me every step of the way. Thank you for your provision and blessings.
