Psalms: A Journey Through the PsalmsSample

Psalms of Praise
“Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.” Psalm 150:6
This week we will read through a collection of Psalms of Praise. These Psalms are songs of praise to our God as our Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer. Praise is our best weapon against the powers and principalities against us. When we praise God, we show them that our great God is worthy of our praise- no matter the circumstances. Praise produces victory, and victory evokes praise.
…
C.H. Spurgeon said, “We ought not to leap in prayer, and limp in praise.” Let us this year aim to make praise a central part of our time with God as we build a genuine relationship with Him, giving glory to Him at every turn. We encourage you to focus your thoughts on God, giving Him praise and honour for what He has done for us. Let the God-inspired insights of these Psalms lift off the heaviness of the heart and lift your eyes to God in praise.
