Psalms: A Journey Through the PsalmsSample
On the last day of our first Bible reading plan of 2023, let us read Psalms 22, 23, and 24 as we thank God for all He is and ask Him to guide, protect, and teach us this year.
We have an intimate journey with Psalms 22, 23 & 24 as a Church. Psalm 22 reveals Jesus as a suffering servant, in need of a saviour. Through Psalm 23, Jesus is our Good Shepherd to lead us beside still waters to experience His healing grace, to the banquet table in the presence of our enemies. In Psalm 24, we see Jesus as the King of Glory in all His victory. “Who is He, this King of Glory? The Lord Almighty— He is the King of Glory.” Psalm 24:10. As a church, we are excited to continue on this Psalm 24 journey of a church.
As we finish our reading plan, take time today to reflect on what God has been speaking to you about through the Book of Psalms. Here are a few questions to help guide you:
·What did I learn about God through the Psalms?
·What were a few key thoughts that stuck out for me as I was reading?
·How could I apply these thoughts to my life?
·How can I implement regular thanksgiving and praise into my daily routine?
About this Plan
The book of Psalms expresses the heart and soul of humanity. Through the Psalms, we see a whole range of human experiences and emotions expressed. This book of the Bible is an honest outpouring of the heart, reflecting a dynamic, powerful, and life-changing relationship with God. As we journey through Psalms, allow the psalmist's honesty to guide you to a deep and genuine relationship with God.
